I took it out paddling yesterday and got some great shots. So far it is meeting my expectations, but it would be good if you could take it deeper...just in case. It easy to get the glass in front of the lens smudged, so bring something along to wipe it with.
Pontos Fortes: Simple, Easy to use
Pontos Fracos: Bulky
I got this case because I was going to Lake Havasu and didn't want to risk having my camera fall in the water. I kept my camera in this case all day and you can't tell that from the photos I took (regarding the quality). Believe me, the photos came out great!!!! :) Anyway, I did jump in the water with the camera around my neck and no water leaked in so I have no complaints. It just doubles the...
Pontos Fortes: Allows for great photo ops and is an awesome protective case for your camera.
Pontos Fracos: A bit bulky, which contradicts buying such a compact camera. High maintinance.
I was hesitant on buying it at first because of price and limited water depth usage. However, while vacationing in Costa Rica, I realize it was definitely worth the money! I was able to take pictures in the rainy/humid weather without worry, and take it with me while snorkeling in the Pacific, spelunking in caves, and hiking through waterfalls. The case did not hinder photo quality. The neck...
Pontos Fortes: Build quality. All camera functions still accessible through buttons on case.
Pontos Fracos: Slight shadow in corners of pictures.

However, once I received it I was excited to use it and took it on a canoe trip. The pictures turned-out 99% as good as they normally do. I was surprised that they were still crystal-clear. It also floated when dropped in the river (on purpose - I wanted to see...
Pontos Fortes: I can lose the fear that my camera will be damaged
Pontos Fracos: More bulky than the camera itself
I took this camera travelling and it gives me much more peace of mind to know that should I be in a very sandy or wet area I don't have to worry that my camera will be damaged while on the road.

Don't go there
I used the case and was very delicate with it in the water, making sure the yellow O ring was good. Yet after 30 min in the water the seal allowed some moisture and water to enter inside. I didn't dive down deep and was snorkeling on top of the water. If you care about your camera, don't purchase this. I know the depth rating is for 10ft but this is nothing more than a "protect against the rain"...
