Pontos Fortes: Exceptionally well made case, with absolutely all camera buttons and levers accessed from outside of the box by, easy to use even wearing gloves. Perfect sealing.
Pontos Fracos: If additional wide angle lenses or filters have to be used, there are no threads for adapters on the outside of the case, but there is one solution: a mount from INON (see comments)

Kit comes with sealant but found that vaseline or petroleum jelly can be used...

A great option, excellent quality for the price (less than 200 dollars), made in Japan, and better than many cases made by other manufacturers for the Canon brand cameras. Too bad there is not one for every Canon Camera.

Great housing, just wish Canon made one for the S2...
Pontos Fortes: Durable construction, camera fits perfectly inside and seems secure
Pontos Fracos: No cover was provided to protect the housing's glass lens!
Very good product for the price. My only gripe is that no protective cover was provided for the housing's glass lens. This is a huge issue for me. I don't want the lens window to get scratched up from the housing being tossed into a dive bag or rolling around the floor of a boat. I guess I'm going to have to make a cover somehow. Otherwise, very good product. All camera buttons/levers/etc. are accomodated by this housing, and they work perfectly.
Note that an S2 or S3 IS camera will NOT fit into this housing. The lens is too big.

Hi, like you mentioned in your review that this underwater housing is not made for S2 or S3 IS cameras, I have an S2 IS camera and I cannot find anywhere like this case made for S2 cameras. Do you have any suggestions or ideas where I can find underwater housing case for the S2 IS? Thanks a bunch in advance!
