Pontos Fortes: Low noise, low temperature, modular cables that allow you to use only what you need (less clutter), excellent stability, SLI certified!
Pontos Fracos: Price? Well, to be fair, you can't find a lower priced PSU that's SLI certified and THIS quiet!
Resumo: First, I'm not a gamer, so I can't speak for SLI performance. I'm building a new PC and have read tons and tons of reviews out there. The deciding factor for me were two things: 1. Stability under heavy load and 2. Quietness. Most people sit very close to their PCs, as I do. So noise is a big factor. I've had the same PC for the last 8 years and its power supply has been rock solid. Although it's not Corsair, I've heard Excellent things about this particular PSU and its similarity between Seasonic PSU (M12 or S12) on the inside. If you read SilentPCReview, you'll know that this was rated as #1 in performance and noise. I can't believe how stable and cool this PSU remains during normal and Peak usage. Also, it helps to conserve energy as it's 80+% efficient, so during normal usage, this puppy will save you $$. It's time to upgrade to industrial grade PSU that was rated #1 by Silent PC Review!!!!

Pontos Fortes: Solid power, modular cables, cool and quiet
Pontos Fracos: none so far
Resumo: I replaced an Antec 550 Truepower 2 with this and it did a great job, the modular cables free up airflow which lowered my temps and i believe this is more stable than the previous psu. Id recommend either model of the Corsair PSU's to anyone building their own pc, corsair is an excellent name and one that you can trust.

Pontos Fracos: price is higher than other competing brands.
Resumo: This is my first power supply that was bought separately from the case. I was very much impressed with the packaging alone and the looks of the PSU. However, there is more to the unit than just the cover. It is very stable, quiet, and powerful enough to be SLI certified. I also like the 5 year warranty although I wish it was lifetime. The yellow markings matches well with my 4 GB Crucial Ballistix memory that I might have to find a case to showcase the inside of my computer.

Resumo: 1. This is basically a well known Seasonic unit. Well known for its good quality. Different from Antec NeoHE line, which is a stripped-down version, Corsair is a "real" Seasonic with good components. 2. Modular cables are good for DIY. Very convenient. Good length to fit P180 case as well. 3. This unit is silent. Love that! 4. I know it is irrelevant; but its label looks cool too :)

Pontos Fracos: None. For SLI get the 620W version.
Resumo: The power supply is silent and efficient. It is built by Seasonic which gets great reviews at silentpc.com. The modular cables are thin and flexible. Minor gripe. Only the motherboard power connections are not modular. For the 24 pin connector it doesn't matter. This is needed no matter what. There is also two other non modular connectors, a 4 pin and a 8 pin one for dual socket motherboards. One of these will not be used and must be tied down out of the way. 5 year warranty! Who else has this? My case fans and hard drives are louder than the PSU. All this at a great price. Cheaper than an actual Seasonic.

Pontos Fortes: Ultra quiet (my first impression), Auto detect 110/220V, Modular power connectors, Corsair 5 Year Warranty!, Plenty of cabling choices, also came with a nice cable bag to store your extra cables.
Pontos Fracos: Pricy, but you’ll get what you paid for.
Resumo: After having read many reviews, I picked this PSU because of very low failure rate and high-efficient (high %-wattage) although it’s quite expensive. But I really satisfy because of ultra-quiet fan and modular design. With 520W and over 80% energy efficiency, you can add many components as you want (if you not going to build a high-end workstation/server).

Resumo: The CMPSU-520HX is driving my new system, which runs about 6-8 hours/day for the last 3 months. It has been running very quiet with no issues since installation.
This PSU provides steady and reliable voltages. Installation is easy and clean because of the modular cables. Strongly recommended.

Pontos Fracos: Lack of 8 pin connector for graphic cards like amd 2900xt
Resumo: This is one of the better power supplies out there. Based on Seasonic power supplies, which is a good thing. Rails remain stable under load. Warranty is just wow, besides corsair I don't know who offeres 5 year warranty on a power supply. Packing is good, you get small bag to put away in it cables that you don't use.
New graphic cards from amd/ati have 8 pin which this psu does not offer. Though the 6 pin connector still works with these cards. Hopely in the future power consumption of graphic cards drops so 6 pin or even less can be used.
